Privacy Policy — Focus Weather

Focus Weather is built to be private by design. We do not collect, store on our servers, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

Information we collect

None. Focus Weather has no sign-up and no login. We never receive your data.

Information stored on your device

To make the app work, some information is stored locally on your device only:

Focus history & preferences — your completed focus sessions, streaks, chosen weather, timer lengths, and sound settings are saved on-device (via Apple's on-device storage and a private app group used by the widget, Live Activity, and Apple Watch app).
This information stays on your device and any devices signed in to your iCloud, where applicable. It is not sent to us and we cannot access it.

Apple Watch sync

When you use the companion Apple Watch app, your current focus session is mirrored between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This communication happens directly between your own paired devices. We do not see or receive it.

Purchases

Focus Weather Premium (the yearly subscription and the lifetime unlock) is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. All payments and billing are handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment details. Your purchase entitlement is managed by the App Store / StoreKit, not by us. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Focus Weather schedules local notifications on your device (for example, when a focus block ends). These are generated and delivered on-device and contain no personal data.

Children's privacy

Focus Weather is suitable for all ages and does not collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above.
